This call for projects is intended for teams accredited by a university or a public scientific and technical institution in the fields of humanities and social sciences, health sciences, health economics, neurology, psychology, sociology, epidemiology, and digital or information sciences. Its purpose is to support innovative multidisciplinary research on personalized approaches to multiple sclerosis at all stages of the disease, as well as on its social and economic impact, and on the treatment and use of related clinical data.

Research projects may focus in particular (but not exclusively) on one of the following themes: entry into the disease pathway — diagnosis disclosure, monitoring, and care management; disease progression — disability evolution, the concept of chronic illness, and aging management; the personal, family, and social impact of multiple sclerosis; the socio-economic consequences of the disease; health democracy and multiple sclerosis — identification of at-risk populations and disparities in care provision; the exploration of loss of autonomy and/or independence and its effects on patients and their environment; connected patients — digital monitoring of multiple sclerosis through connected devices, the impact of social networks, and the traceability and security of collected data; and related topics.
